GOD, the preeminent One, purposed to position people on this planet to know His presence personally.
But His plan for Man would reveal other participants whose plots would produce a pull toward prideful power.
As Man had been planted in the perfect park, the python was also permitted to play in there. It preyed on the helpmate’s psyche who then pondered the python’s point about spoken perception; but through his deception, persistence paid off and she was persuaded. She permitted and accepted his poisonous words, and took as her prize an impermissible piece of pomegranate and passed it to her partner.
This caused GOD great pain as He had previously preached to them that if they partook of that pomegranate, it would lead to their peril! As punishment, GOD had to pluck Man out of the pleasant place and put he and his partner out to a less pleasing pasture where Man needed to produce palatable provisions in order to be preserved. What the people didn’t realize was that their moment of pleasure led to a prison of perishing where only GOD could pardon them personally.
Soon the people propagated, who in turn populated the planet. But their pedigree chose not to praise and thank the Omnipotent One who had personally picked them. They pursued power and position, and were puffed up and impure. They didn’t pray to or keep their promises to GOD, but readily persisted with their pagan gods.
This paved the way for GOD to appoint prophets who spoke Proverbs, prophesied, and shared His promises that were poignant and plainly told. They penned on papyrus and paper to prove the past, and promote His plan and purpose for Man. GOD was patient and loved His precious people. But they persisted in their passivity toward Him and participated in partying and picking their own priests.
As a parent has pity on their children, so did the Provident GOD who knew He ultimately had to pay the price by pouring out His precious blood for the people to be pardoned and have peace with GOD. His painful purchase would prevent their eternal part in the pit and their portion would be paradise with Him in His palace, should they persevere and pursue purity.
Yes, on that page in preplanned history, when He, Jesus, was parched, peppered with insults, and pierced with nails, He cast his final pearl, paused, and perished. Thus He became the Passover Lamb that paroled plenty; the High Priest and Perpetual Pastor to the poor, pessimistic, and pigheaded; the Physician to the hurting and dying; and the hope fulfilled of the past patriarchs.
GOD was pleased with His sacrifice; the problem of sin -pride and prejudice- now had been perfectly purged and man could be purified.
Have you been paroled from your prison of peril? If not, you can be…
Do you prize our Heavenly Papa who created you? If not, He is waiting for you…He loves YOU…
Do you practice what you preach? If not, now is the time to change that…
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
John 3:16-17

Fun facts: 1. Poetry predates written language, using sound and rhythm to communicate emotions and stories. 2. The Mahabharata is considered the longest poem in the world, with approximately 1.8 million words. 3. The Epic of Gilgamesh, from the 3rd millennium BC, is the oldest surviving epic poem.

***NOTE: the use of ‘python’ or ‘pomegranate’ is for wordplay only. Scripture does not tell us what type of snake it was nor does it mention the type of fruit. Oh, and perhaps this isn’t a true poem in proper form, but hey, maybe I’m just being punny about it!
